Dazzling Diamond Dust
Dazzling Diamond Dust is a stamping technique that takes the elements of heat embossing and adds a twist giving your paper crafting projects a little something extra. Dazzling Diamond Dust can be used with many styles, adding an element of sparkle and shine to handmade cards or any project made with card stock. Here is a quick tutorial to get you started. All products used are by Stampin' Up!
1. Stamp your images as desired on a piece of light-colored card stock. This can be a large or small piece of card stock. Note: this technique is best suited to dark and/or bright ink stamped on light-colored card stock.
2. Take the entire stamped piece and press onto a VersaMark Pad. Make sure that the entire piece has the sticky VersaMark ink on it.
3. Sprinkle Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder over the VersaMark "ink" on the card stock and rock back and forth to ensure that the embossing powder totally covers the surface. Tap off excess.
4. Heat the Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder with the Heat Tool until it is set and allow to cool. That's it! Look at the sparkle and shine you have produced!
Dazzling Diamond Dust is quick and easy to do. It takes a simple or complex stamped image and gives it dramatic effect. People will be amazed with your projects.
